Kizmet Academy of Dance

We follow the International Dance Teachers Association Theatre dance syllabus and the An Comisiun le Rinci Gaelacha regulations for Irish dancing.

Various events are held throughout the academic year including school holiday taster days, where anyone can come along and try out all the classes available, presentation days for class attendance and an opportunity for parents to see what has been covered during the year, bi-annual shows which are open to the public and held in a local theatre and exam sessions, where children are externally marked by examiners from the International Dance Teachers Association.

All students have the opportunity to compete in festivals and feises throughout the country if they wish.
