Payment
The first class attended is given as a free trial, then in the first term of attending payment can be made weekly as you come to ensure that you/your child enjoy the classes before you commit to paying in advance. From the second term of attendance, payment is required termly in advance. The terms run alongside school terms and are 6/7 weeks in length. You will be invoiced at the end of the previous term for all fees due and payment is due on the first lesson of the next term. Cash and cheques are accepted.
If classes are missed without notice, the fee paid will be forfeited and no refunds will be made. If 24 hours notice of non-attendance is given, a credit will be applied to the next month's invoice. If for any reason a class is cancelled by Kizmet Academy of Dance then a reduction will be made on the next terms fees.
Uniform
The uniforms vary depending on the age of the child and class taken. A uniform and correct shoes for each class taken are required. All uniform can be purchased through the school at reasonable rates. Please ask for details. Please note we do not expect uniforms to be purchased until a commitment has been made to regularly attend classes.
Parents
Parents are requested to leave their children in the care of the teacher for the duration of the lesson. Children normally work better and concentrate more without an audience! Parents are asked to drop off and pick up their children inside the studio (this applies to the younger children). Parents are invited to watch classes at the end of each term. If younger children would prefer a parent to stay with them for the first one or two lessons, this is fine, but once they are settled in the class, we ask that they are left.
Registration
When a commitment to attend regular classes is made, you will be asked to complete a registration form. There is no need to register prior to attending your first class, however please call or email to ensure a particular class is running when you intend to visit. All effort is made to keep to the timetable, although sometimes unexpected circumstances can prevent a class going ahead, so it is best to check before you come.
